Every piece of your Transparent Jewelry is completely designed and made in Barcelona. Our aim is to provide our clients with exclusive artisan jewelry that not only will lift their outfits and elevate their own beauty but also, give them an emotional way of living the past in the present while dreaming of fascinating ancient worlds. I follow an intuitive design process that allows my love for ancient cultures to permeate to the designs, along with a passion for experimentation in a playful combination game of color, light and rhythm. This results in a very particular universe that mixes & matches colorful stones, bold textured organic pieces and archaeological elegance for a unique daily-wear jewelry set that won´t go unnoticed. Mythology
“Search with us, into the mysteries of Mythology, to feel the emotion of fascinating legendary characters”
A piece of History and a particular story lie behind the conception of every design I make in my MYTHOLOGY Collections. They are hybrids born from a miscellanea of cultures and their myths & daughters of a non-linear history timeline, that comes to meet contemporary design. A balance between opposites: the ancient vs the contemporary, tradition vs experimentation, where I use traditional ancient techniques in a process that involves contemporary experimentation. These have inspired my MYTHOLOGY Collections: FATA MORGANA, VULCANO, CALYPSO…
I work giving a special relevance to lay on our jewels unique textures to make them look like archaeological pieces that have just been unearthed, from the past, with the will to bring ancient elegance to your contemporary lifestyle with one-of-a-kind jewels. Genuine research is done in each collection to understand different Mediterranean cultures and to mix some of its traits with nowadays style; inspired by their architecture, their Mythology, their frescoes, their use of gemstones, & jeweler’s techniques developed.
Nature

Most of the jewels in NATURE Collections, are made using the lost wax casting method. These designs are completely handmade in a sculptural process in jeweler’s wax, creating an organic world of wearable art. Just as mother nature follows a process of different levels of growth & decay the pieces go through different levels of construction & destruction to recreate a personal natural universe that seeks to enhance the beauty of the “perfect imperfect” observed in nature. These observations have inspired my NATURE Collections: FOREST & ACQUA. All these sculptural jewels are totally ergonomic and are tested so that they feel comfortable and nice on the skin.

I chose the name TRANSPARENT Jewelry to evoke the beauty of transparent gems and an express an honest way to approach jewelry making, working with the finest gems and noble metals. I am a gemology passionate, and I feel so inspired by the unbelievable variety of gems and crystals and all the natural materials that mother nature offers to us and their breathtaking beauty. I enjoy studying them and these variety inspires my MATTER Collections: PIETRA ÚNICA, CRYSTALS, RÍO TURQUESA, LEATHER where mostly one material is used by itself to explore it´s beauty.
Materials

When I work with gemstones, I work in my interest on color, shapes and finishes and how to mix and match them in an interesting way.
I like to work with a wide variety of minerals, and their specific characters are used to define my different collections. Ranging from rough to faceted, to polished & matte, opaque & translucent, colorful & colorless. I choose personally and carefully my gemstones and minerals so that I can bring to you the most gorgeous beads and cabs.
Working with gemstones is challenging, I try to capture their unique character, to connect with their energy & listen to them. I observe their features to see how to match them and find them a place that respects their personality and elevates the fine lapidary work. I am inspired by all those aspects in my collections, where you will find gemstones that have been used since ancient times in the Mediterranean & European classical cultures. Each civilization had their own favorites, their preferred shapes, and jewelry techniques. Please step into our collections if you want to discover more!
Making of
“Experimental archaeology based on beading & lost wax casting, ancient methods of jewelry making”
I work with two different jewelry techniques, based on very ancient methods of jewelry making: Lost wax casting & beading.
With the jeweler’s wax in a sculptural way, I work on tridimensionality: volume, pattern and texture. With stone beads, I work with color & rhythm. All of my work is a studied balance of proportions and structure that plays between tradition versus design experimentation to create dynamic jewelry designs.
I research about a different Mediterranean culture for each collection, inspired by their use of gemstones, & jeweler’s techniques developed. That I´ve worked on, as “experimental archaeology”, with the adoption of the lost wax casting technique for the reproduction of ancient Greek and Roman coins. I use sterling silver and bronze for my sculptural pieces inspired by archaeology, the color is never exactly the same, so each jewel is very unique. I try to capture that feel of the weathered and aged texture on their surface.
Once I’ve made the pieces in jeweler’s wax, I pass them on to the hands of our trusted experts. They belong to family artisans whose skills have been learned from father to son, to do the casting, engraving and gold-plating.

When purchasing a TRANSPARENT Jewelry piece, you will be sent a gift box wrapped with care & love just for YOU. It is shipped inside a safe bubble shipping bag for a perfect and secure delivery. Then placed in a jewelry-case box with velvet inside covered with soft scented satin paper and sweet velvet ribbon. I add a personalized greeting card. (Ask me for a personalized message)
